Why this engine exists

The $199–$699 on a pricing page is never the cost of the hire.

In Brazil, statutory employer charges add 51% on top of gross salary. In Armenia, 0%. Then comes the provider's fee, sometimes a deposit, sometimes an FX margin. Most comparison pages stop at the fee. This one starts there.

How the ledger is computed

Where you can hire, and what a hire really costs there.

76 countries published so far, in order of search demand. Each page carries its own ledger, provider table and sources.

Two providers, one scenario, one verdict.

A comparison is only useful once the hire is priced the same way through both providers. The block on the right runs 3 hires in Mexico at $36,000 through Deel and Remote: same salary, same statutory charges, each provider's own published fee.

The difference is rarely the fee alone. Deposits, billing terms and what else you need on the platform decide it, so the verdict names the situation each provider fits, not a winner for everyone.
